StreetVet is a multi-award-winning RCVS registered practice founded in 2016 delivering free care to the homeless and their pets on the streets of 18 cities across the UK.
Our journey over the last few years has highlighted the complexity of all the support functions essential to the effective delivery of our services. Reflecting on these experiences has enabled us to develop a new operating model which defines and shares responsibility for key functions amongst the location teams.
The aim is to create a scalable model for our charity which continues to make a real difference (essential for future funding and investment) that also creates a challenging but rewarding experience for our Volunteers, able to take on new responsibilities and learn new skills, as well as encouraging new volunteers to join us who haven’t previously been able to support our work.
We will pilot the new structure in two locations (Norwich and Bristol) with an anticipated full national roll out late Autumn – Covid-19 permitting!
