We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Branch Manager at Ballgawley!
We are a progressive practice that accommodates for the surrounding farmers veterinary needs. From our origins in 2000 with two farm vets and one admin staff and one branch, we now have three branches, nine vets and 15 support staff. We now wish to employ a branch manager for our busy Ballygawley site, with an immediate start date.
What you’ll do
As a Branch Manager you will manage the day-to-day activity and grow a successful care team who individually deliver personal care services to our service users. In the running of the branch, you will be accountable for ensuring the correct number of suitably qualified care workers are available to meet the service demands, that the care work is of the required standard and that all processes are followed and correctly controlled and documented. You will also be responsible for compliance for quality internally and for regulators and contract holders.
The branch opening hours are:
Mon- Fri 9am- 6pm and Sat from 9am-4pm – Working hours 42.5 per week.
This position is practice based and the likely candidate will be expected to work a Saturday on rota. A day off in lieu will be given for this.
The Branch Manager will be answerable to the Practice Manager and Clinical Director.

Essential Criteria:
- Driving licence
- Good communication Skills- Knowledge of the farming sector preferable
- Flexible: Be prepared to work between our three branches when necessary and work a Saturday on rota.
- Team Player- work well with the existing long standing team.
You will need to be an efficient, organised and experienced manager who is passionate about providing the best in community care with solid understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework relating to the group’s range of services. With experience of managing a high number of care hours per week, you will also need good budget, business management and commercial skills to succeed in this role and grow the business.
