Business Support Manager – VetPartners, Nationwide

VetPartners has grown rapidly through acquisition and is now a leading provider of veterinary services, across equine, farm and small animal practices.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Business Support Manager, to provide project support and training within our group of practices. This role will be field based and southern location would be preferred.

The Business Support Manager (BSM) is an operational support role designed to assist the Business Development Director (BDD) and Practice Management Team (PMT) to deliver key business performance objectives. It is a mix of business analysis, practice development, team effectiveness support, training, and coaching.

If you possess –

  • In depth understanding of all aspects of the UK veterinary industry
  • Relevant business experience in practice management and in leading and coaching teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to inspire and motivate practice teams
  • PMS skills and understanding would be desirable
  • Confident public speaker

We are looking for a strong and motivational individual, skilled in collaborating and coordinating team activities. The ideal candidate will have well developed communication, influencing, and analytical skills as well as experience of PMS data analysis. Commercially minded, you will also be used to working on your own initiative, with the ability to be able to embrace change with a flexible approach to work.

Ideal candidates will have experience of practice management in developing and supporting team and business performance. They will also be a confident presenter and ideally had experience of training. This will be a field-based role that will involve travel to surrounding VetPartners practices, head office and other required regional events.
