The BVA are currently looking for council representatives based in Wales and Northern Ireland, alongside the England regions of the North East, Yorkshire & Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands and London. They are keen to receive applications from all sectors of the veterinary profession for these important roles.
Representatives sit on BVA Council for three years. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and engaged in the issues affecting vets, the profession and animal health and welfare.
Representatives will influence the development of our policy positions, bringing the perspective of vets from their region to the process. They will also be an ambassador for BVA, fully supported by the team at BVA headquarters, and receive free BVA membership for the duration of their term with travel expenses paid.
