We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to join our cohesive team at Paxton Vets. We will consider full and part-time hours and shifts can be discussed. We are a family-friendly practice and are willing to try and accommodate your needs. No OOH, no Sundays, and no Bank Holidays!
You will get a mix of clinical and nonclinical days, additional training and support can be provided around management and HR. We all like a mix of consulting and surgery, so each Vet gets the chance to do both every day. Consulting blocks are on average 2.5 hours, with 15-minute consultations, and emergency slots to allow catchups or genuine emergencies.
The salary is £50000-£65,000 dependent on experience with enhanced CPD allowance and a generous relocation allowance.
You will be a keen Senior or Lead Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for small animals. The role entails a mix of first opinion consulting and surgical caseload. You will also have full clinical freedom and will be able to work up your cases from start to finish.
You would need to be an experienced candidate, with a view to progress your career to clinical director and learn more about the management of the team and business.

We are a thriving 2 site RCVS Accredited practice in South London, established 90 years this summer! Situated in a lovely part of Crystal Palace, South London; we are surrounded by parks, museums, and galleries. There are excellent transport links via train and tube to all the other sights of London within 20 mins, only 30 mins by train from Gatwick and 1 hour away from the Brighton coast.
We are very well equipped with digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, and multi-parameter monitors at both our clinics. You will always be surrounded by fantastic support; we work as a cohesive team and are always keen to share knowledge.
We have a team of 5 wonderful Vets with a wide range of interests, (2 Vets have Feline Medicine Certificates), plus 4 Veterinary Nurses and support staff.
