Virtual Veterinary Specialists is a ground-breaking specialist-to-vet teleconsultation service. This service enables vets in practice to work-up their own cases in-house with the real-time virtual support and guidance from our team of veterinary specialists.

By working with VVS, practices can offer specialist-level care within their clinics, improve patient outcomes and retain clinical cases and revenue in-house. This service also supports practices to empower and upskill their veterinary and nursing teams whilst improving client convenience and overall satisfaction.

This role would be suitable for an experienced professional who has worked within veterinary practice for a minimum of 3 years. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a good understanding of both the operational and commercial aspects of veterinary practice. An understanding of the referral process would be a plus.

You must be able to work alone as well as being a good team player. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter able to work on tasks, develop and implement policy and develop strong relationships with our client practices.

As Commercial Executive, you will work closely with vet practices to increase awareness and create opportunities to work together, supporting practices through trial periods and beyond.

You should have an interest in innovation and technology and how these can be applied to the veterinary field. You need to be proficient with Microsoft Office. Full training and support will be provided on the use of the VVS Platform.

Although we are a virtual company with a remote-working team, VVS’s unique platform enables the entire team to work closely and collaboratively, avoiding the need for daily commuting. However, some planned travel and attendance at team off-site meetings, industry events and visits to partner practices is required.

At VVS we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional service to our client practices and for providing a stimulating, supportive work environment for our team. Salary range is £28,000 to £33,000 per annum (based on applicant’s experience and qualifications) with additional company benefits such as a discretionary annual performance related bonus scheme.

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday with a voluntary shared bank holiday cover rota.
