VMG-SPVS Virtual Congress 2021

Thursday 13th and Friday 14th May 2021

We’re delighted to announce registration is now open for our first online congress.

As the UK’s leading non-clinical veterinary conference, we intend to live up to our live event reputation for interesting and engaging speakers from within the veterinary practice and beyond. This will be coupled with a friendly environment providing lots of opportunities to ‘meet’ and network.

On the agenda

Our opening speaker will be Craig Bennett, CEO of The Wildlife Trusts. Joining Craig, across 4 streams, will be an eclectic mix of speakers from around the world, including:

  • Katherine Eitel Belt, LionSpeak
  • Pam Mosedale, RCVS QI Clinical Lead
  • Carolyne Crowe
  • Alan Robinson, Vet Dynamics
  • Mark Harwood, Hazlewoods
  • Rachel Davis, The Coaching Cabin
  • Helen Ballantyne, Royal College of Nursing
  • Wendy Nevins

As in previous years, the programme will offer a wide variety of non-clinical sessions for the whole team – from those starting out, to those contemplating life beyond their veterinary career.

There will be sessions covering a range of subjects:

  • from managing debt to saving money through sustainability,
  • flexi-working,
  • the challenges of leading in a time of change,
  • tackling those courageous conversations,
  • creating a digital strategy, and much more…

It’s a programme designed to fulfil all needs in these trickiest of times.

New Streams for 2021

Additionally, the programme will again see a dedicated stream for large animal and equine practices.

Plus, we will have a new European stream, featuring David Giraldi, Vet Partners Italy and Joop Loomans, Oculus Insights.

Also new for 2021 will be Friday afternoon small-group interactive workshops with some of the event’s top speakers joining in.

All attendees will also be able to access the virtual exhibition enabling them to set up meetings, find out about innovative products and services, and have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes from the wide variety of sponsors and exhibitors.
