Lord Gardiner of Kimble, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, has responded to the VMG’s concerns regarding ongoing financial support for veterinary practices.
Rich Casey, VMG President, said, “We are very pleased that our ministers are listening to our views and in many ways acting upon them. But, not including veterinary practices in the government’s Business Rates Relief is depriving us of a vital economic lifeline at a time when practices have seen a reduction in turnover and capacity as a result of Covid-19 and the lockdown.”
