Diary Manager – LLM Farm Vets, Lancashire

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our support team in Lancashire.

Your main role will be the management of our vet team diary. You will be responsible for arranging routine client appointments, booking team meetings and training, organising TB tests and managing vet holidays and the out of hours rota. In addition to forward planning, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the diary, taking calls from our veterinary team and clients, handling enquiries, arranging emergency appointments and coordinating the clinical team. You will also be responsible for supporting our clinical team in balancing on-farm appointments along with office work and other projects, through strong team relationships and excellent diary management.

In addition, as part of our front of house team, you’ll be responsible for dispensing medicine orders, taking payments and completing laboratory and administrative tasks.

What we are looking for:

  • A can-do attitude and willingness to support your colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Self-motivation, a quick learner and someone who excels in taking responsibility.
  • Must be able to multitask and work under pressure, but with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective decision-making skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise.

Ideally, you will have experience in diary management and a good understanding of farm vetting – however, we are looking for a candidate with the right attitude and the ability to learn, so we would be open to other applicants.

The role is predominantly based at our Broughton practice with occasional travel to Clitheroe. Working hours are 8.30-5.00pm Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work for events.

If you’re interested in working as part of our wonderful team, please send a covering letter and C.V. to jobs@llmvets.co.uk or call 01772 866014 for more information.
