Group Practice Director – Rowe Vet Group, Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire

Ideally the shift pattern will be 40 hours per week spread across 5 days.
We are open to exploring flexible working arrangements, such as part-time options, shorter shifts, or hours that align with school schedules. Although the role encompasses the responsibilities of a full-time position, we’re happy to discuss the possibility of condensed hours over 4 days, keeping your needs in mind.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and nurture our team members to ensure a consistently high standard of clinical and customer care.
• Support day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
• Conduct practice team meetings in collaboration with senior staff members.
• Ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff.
• Address client concerns and manage complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of our business and its operations.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgeting, invoicing, payroll, and cash management.
• Implement effective marketing strategies to enhance our presence.
• Organize and manage the practice’s schedule, including holiday and sickness cover.
• Collaborate with HR on employment matters and recruitment.
• Uphold and enforce health and safety policies.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs within the practice.

Your Role in Our Team:

As the Practice Director, you’ll work closely with our Clinical Directors and referrals manager to uphold the Rowe Veterinary Group’s standards. Leading teams across 6 sites, you’ll oversee the Practice Leadership teams, including Veterinary Clinical Leads, Head Veterinary Nurses, and Branch Managers or Head Receptionists.
