An exciting opportunity has become available at our 24hr Hospital in Liverpool as a Head Veterinary nurse.

You will have the opportunity form part of a community of Head nurses, a platform which activity promotes the sharing of ideas and suggestions with other head nurses within the region.
Clinical coach experience would be desirable, with a passion to support and develop future student nurses whilst leading by example. You will be fully supported within your move and we will offer full management training through our dedicated in-house Head Veterinary Nurse Career Programme Pathway.

As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop your team optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing and leading the entire nursing team.
You’ll also be proactive in maintaining your own professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways that we can further develop our standards.
As a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively. Just as important are the leadership skills essential to enabling your team to work as one and look ahead to see how they can be even better.
Full time salary package to include:
- – Starting salary £32,500 per annum
- – £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
- – Hours: 40 per week with 1:8 weekends
