Our fabulous Hospital Administrator Lizzy is going on Maternity Leave, so from December 2020 we are looking for a highly motivated team player to provide full administrative support to the management staff at the Wanstead Veterinary Hospital whilst she’s away.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the hospital management team at our busy 24-hr veterinary hospital in a variety of ways including rota production and co-ordination, induction and recruitment, organisation of facilities maintenance, stock control and providing secretarial support.
Our ideal candidate will have previous administrator experience or a background of working in a busy office environment. The Hospital Administrator role is diverse and will require strong organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as the role will involve liaising with clinical staff, client and suppliers. Experience of standard office software packages (e.g. Word, Excel) and good numeracy skills would also be considered important for the role. This role may suit an RVN with some administrative experience, or someone with similar experience in the veterinary industry, looking for a new challenge in a non-clinical role.
The role is a fixed term contract and is full-time; Monday-Friday. Salary will be dependent upon experience and skill level.
