The Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management was the industry-standard professional examination for veterinary managers. Covering six key areas, it was available to all members of the VMG who wished to consolidate their knowledge and experience with a recognised qualification. The CVPM was retired in 2020 when our new qualifications were launched, but a list of CVPM holders is still available here.
The Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate was aimed at VMG members who are newer to management, and wished to diversify from a clinical or customer care role towards branch or practice management, or had come to a veterinary practice role from a different sector. This year-long distance-learning course was delivered by Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. The VPAC was retired in 2022.
