Night Nurse Manager – Anderson Moores, Hampshire

Anderson Moores is a truly multidisciplinary team providing specialist-led referral services across the South of England. Our services include Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Cardiology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Physiotherapy and Diagnostic Imaging.

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Night Nurse Manager to be the main point of responsibility for Nursing staff during the evening out of hours service. We are therefore looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in managing a large team of Nursing staff and are seeking a new opportunity.

About the role

Our night service is predominantly inpatient care including high dependency, and out of hours emergencies. As Night Nurse Manager you will be expected to carry out effective managerial and administrative duties to enable the smooth running of your teams. You will also be providing continuous support to nursing staff to ensure that performance and clinical standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN already in a managerial type role to excel and progress within a busy referral nursing environment.

To be considered for this role you must be:

  • already be in or have held a senior/managerial Nurse role
  • experienced in supporting staff
  • well organised and hold great administration skills
  • a strong leader with effective communication skills
  • a self-starter with high clinical standards
  • registered with the RCVS
