Operations Coordinator – VetPartners, York

Someone with fantastic administrative and coordination skills, along with excellent communication, and some knowledge of the veterinary sector would be ideal for this role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide support with general day to day queries for our practices/businesses
  • Initiate communications to practices/businesses through both written and verbal channels
  • Support the wider field-based Operations teams and other VetPartners central functions
  • Coordinate various ad hoc project work within agreed timelines
  • Collating data and updating of spreadsheets for accurate tracking
  • Attend meetings, provide minute taking where needed and follow up action point deadlines

You will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Experience of project work/management an advantage
  • An understanding of veterinary services an advantage
  • Must be a team player
  • Approachable, pro-active, and driven
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Confident communicator at all levels
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-changing reactive environment
  • Willingness to ‘muck in’
  • Prioritising important tasks, amongst a varied workload, will be key to the role
  • An outlook that reflects the VetPartners culture and values

The finer details:

  • Mon – Fri 37.5 hours per week
  • Based out of our York Central Office with a high degree of flexibility; 60% in office requirement, with the option to work from home for the remainder
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays with the option to buy 10 or sell up to 5 days holiday
