This is a full-time role working 8:30 pm – 5 pm, Monday-Friday.Your day-to-day
Leadership Duties:
- Be the ambassador of our culture, values, and employer brand.
- Provide leadership, guidance, development, and appraisals to all employees.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professional conduct.
Management Duties:
- Collaborate with your practice leadership team to ensure the financial performance of the practice meets budget goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including HR, H&S, financial, GDPR, compliance, and security.
- Manage staff rotas, including out-of-hours provision, to meet legal and professional responsibilities.
HR Duties:
- Collaborate with our Talent Team to recruit new employees fairly and transparently.
- Utilize the IVC HR system for HR and personnel matters.
Finance/Marketing Management:
- Oversee finance management within the practice, including monitoring performance trends and fees.
- Manage stock levels and reordering.
- Maintain the integrity of the PMS system and financial controls.
- Marketing and Business Development:
- Plan and promote practice promotional events, such as Pet Health Plans and educational evenings.
Clinical:
- Collaborate with the Clinical Lead to ensure adherence to pricing policies and clinical audits.
- Maintain RCVS Practice Standards Scheme registration.
- Set clinical objectives aligned with IVC Clinical guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations related to veterinary medicinal products.

- Degree education is a plus, but not essential. Management experience in a service-driven environment is preferred.

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
