Practice Director – Taylor Veterinary Practice, Glasgow

Taylor Vets are looking for a motivated individual to join our friendly team in Glasgow in the role of Practice Director. This vacancy is a new role and is an ideal opportunity for candidates to offer new ideas that will help to grow and develop our practice. The successful candidate would work alongside our experienced Clinical Directors and Practice Manager and enjoy interacting with others. As a team we strive to deliver excellent clinical care and outstanding customer service. An example of duties within this role include leadership, management, HR, Finance, Marketing and Business Development. This position is full-time working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. About Us
Taylor Veterinary Practice is one of the oldest established small animal veterinary practices in the world. We have been caring for animals in the community, as part of the Cathkin Estate Glasgow, for almost two hundred years. We are a well-equipped small animal practice. Our Cathkin branch is our main “hub” where all surgery is performed as well as consultations. We also have 2 additional branches in East Kilbride and Clarkston open for consultations only.

Our “TVP Family” consists of 3 Clinical Directors, 1 Practice Manager, 14 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 6 Animal Care Assistant, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses and 16 receptionists. Our Finance department is covered by 5 Practice Administrators. We take great pride in our team and feel we are a credit to our profession.

Applicant Requirements
You be dedicated and enthusiastic, mature, motivated, highly competent and have excellent customer relations and communication skills. The ability to multitask and take responsibility is essential. You will be calm under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment, take a genuine interest in your work and the wellbeing of the whole team. Veterinary management experience is preferred, although applicants who can demonstrate good leadership qualities will also be considered.
