Practice Manager – Eastbourne Vets, Seaside, West Sussex

An opportunity has become available for a Practice Manager to join us at Eastbourne Vets!
The successful applicant will support the Clinical Director in the management of the practice and the development of the business, promoting improvements. You will manage, lead and develop the team to ensure excellent teamwork delivering a continuous high standard of customer care. The shift pattern will cover 40 hours across 5 days per week.
Salary for the role is up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
About Us
We have 3 branches, one main hub with two smaller surgeries. We are located next to the Atlantic Ocean with a beautiful beach walk just 5 minutes from the practice. 10 minutes by car from us is Beachy head, beautiful cliffs with amazing views, and do not forget about national treasure, North Downs with more amazing walks! Our unique selling point is quality, we focus on delivering a high-quality service, with an individual approach.
We are kitted out with a fully equipped theatre, kennels for inpatients and digital/dental X-ray machines, an endoscope, gastro and bronchoscope equipment. Diagnostic imaging is also covered with an ultrasound scanner equipped with cardio and abdominal probes and we have a fully equipped laboratory part for blood diagnostics.
About the Team and Culture
We currently have 3 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Nurses and 8 Support Team Members. We have a real family here at Eastbourne, we are a friendly, approachable team. We pride ourselves on offering continuous support and encourage, especially to our new team members transitioning into their new role.
Applicant Requirements
The successful applicant will be someone looking to take the next step into their career, who possesses the ability to guide and help build their team by example. This role will require the candidate to take on extra responsibilities and provide leadership when needed. Therefore, we do ask that you have management experience, and you will have practice management experience in a healthcare or Veterinary environment. As this is a customer facing role we do expect the successful candidate has a positive can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.
