The role involves HR support, managing the admin team, financial planning and reporting, marketing, trouble shooting, recruitment, induction of new starters and premises maintenance
About the practice
We are a busy first opinion and referral Hospital with a highly qualified clinical team. We provide an out of hours service for several local practices. We have high standards of clinical and customer service and are proud to be recognised as Outstanding in all six of the available RCVS Practice Standard Awards. We are an ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly practice, and a Rabbit Welfare Association Silver Rabbit Friendly practice. Wellbeing is prioritised and we have a strong culture of support, continual and shared learning across all teams. We are a nurse training practice with 16 RVNs and 11 Students VNs. We have 17 vets, including 7 Advanced Practitioners, and recruit new graduates through the IVC Graduate Academy. We audit our Clinical practice to ensure Quality Improvement. We have a Code of Ethics which we review annually. We value and promote good team work.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Clinical Directors and Management Team. You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to problem solve in a busy environment. You will be progressive, organised and have an understanding of the challenges and opportunities that face veterinary practices and proven and demonstrable success in a previous management role.
