Practice Manager – Pride Veterinary Referrals, Derbyshire

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Pride Veterinary Centre, part of Scarsdale Veterinary Group based in Derby, one of the largest referral and first opinion sites in Europe. We’re looking for a full time Practice Manager to oversee and focus solely on the operations of the first opinion and resort business in our state-of-the-art hospital on Pride Park in Derby, ensuring we provide the best level of clinical excellence and care to our Patients and Clients within the hospital setting.

The Role

Reporting to the Small Animal Clinical Director, the ideal candidate will have operational experience within the small animal veterinary sector, with either clinical or retail experience. They will have a full appreciation of what the client care journey should look and feel like, and be able to demonstrate change management success and how they have improved business performance in previous roles. This is a challenging, but rewarding role, where each day brings variety and a chance to make a difference to the business.

If you can demonstrate great leadership and people management skills, and have successfully managed, coached and developed clinical teams, then we want to hear from you. Experience in finance and business management and membership of VPMA is preferable but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided. If you’re interested in working with a friendly and dynamic team surrounded by fantastic facilities, offering extensive support and training, please apply now!
