Practice Manager – Rae, Bean & Partners Veterinary Surgeons, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire

We are looking for a Practice Manager to work 30 hours per week, Mon – Fri. Perhaps you have experience in the veterinary/ healthcare sector? You may already be working in veterinary practice and looking for the next step in your career? Maybe you have enjoyed a fast paced role but are looking for a better work/life balance? 

We are a traditional, single site veterinary practice, nestled in the beautiful market town of Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire. Having recently moved from mixed work to small animal only, we are looking for a professional, enthusiastic Practice Manager to support our practice and people, as we further develop our services.

Key responsibilities include: 

•    Support the Clinical Director with overseeing team well-being, conducting regular 121 meetings and other line management responsibilities
•    Effectively communicate initiatives and progress to the team
•    Oversee and support administrative functions and ensure that practice policies are followed
•    Oversee Health and Safety compliance
•    Take part in regular communication update meetings and peer group forums
•    Work with the management team to support optimal business performance

Salary for this role is up to £30,000 pro rata DOE

About the Team and Culture
Rae, Bean and Partners provides a warm and welcoming, dedicated team who work well together and help support each other. Our team consists of 3 Vets, 2 RVNs, and 9 Support staff. We all work well within the team and provide a culture of understanding and comradery.

We would like you to be a real people person; someone who enjoys supporting a team in achieving their goals, and someone who demonstrates genuine empathy and compassion for our clients and patients. Whilst this may be your first management role, we would expect you to be able to provide examples of effective team leadership, perhaps in a supervisory role or similar.
