We are looking for a Practice Manager to join and help lead our thriving, well established small animal vets in the beautiful village of Twyford!
As a practice we can offer a wonderful team of vets, nurses and support staff to work with and the opportunity to play a key role in the management of an established veterinary practice, with a loyal clientele and a reputation for excellence. This position is 30-35 hours per week Monday-Friday. Salary £27,900 – £35,000 FTE (40h) depending on experience.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the reception team and being the duty manager for the whole practice at set times
- Working closely with the clinical director and head nurse in the running of the practice
- Site maintenance management
- Equipment/asset management
- Cash & Banking reconciliations/month end reporting
- Invoice processing
- Insurance and charity payment allocations
- Debt management
- New staff hiring and inductions
- Holiday rota management
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a manager
- Strong organisational skills
- Great financial understanding of running a business/budgeting
- Motivation and vision to help grow the practice
- Excellent IT skills
- An ability to be flexible and multi-task
- Great customer service and communication skills
