Practice Manager – Vets4Pets Chester Caldy, Cheshire

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within our practice based in Chester Caldy, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing team as a practice manager.

As a practice we are aiming to provide a state-of-the-art and Gold Standard of veterinary care in Chester, with the highest level of service starting at the front desk and following all the way through the practice. We pride ourselves on our excellent communication, transparent pricing which is explained at every step of the way and our team go beyond the call of duty for our clients and patients. We are still a relatively new practice (less than 3 years old) and are rapidly growing our client base so are looking for a very special person who understands the business side of veterinary practice and the importance of reputation, and will help us grow further.

This is a full time role, offering 40 hours (including participation in the weekend rota) with a competitive salary of £20,000 – £22,000 dependent on experience.

Person Specification
This is a brand new role where you will be working to develop strategies for growth, look after the day-to-day organisation and management of our practice and to ensure a high level of customer service is delivered at all times. You will need to have excellent team leading, administrative and organisational skills with previous experience in human resources, finance and business management. You will be managing our non-clinical team and co-managing our vet team. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a strong customer service focus and good business sense are essential to this role, and any veterinary experience would be advantageous.
