Practice Standards Advisor – VetPartners, remote/York Central Support Office

We have a fabulous opportunity for a Practice Standards Advisor to join our growing regulatory team here at VetPartners.

A little bit about the role:

The role will centre around providing Practice Standards Scheme (PSS) advice and support to our practices.

A veterinary practice background will be essential to fulfil this role to its potential, and an in-depth knowledge of RCVS PSS and its requirements.

The role will see you provide support pro-actively, alongside building positive relationships with our Veterinary practice teams in Farm, Equine, Small Animal, and other businesses within the group.

What you’ll be doing:

 Liaising with practices in all things Practice Standards Scheme

  • Assisting with or escalating, any practice standards queries
  • Responding to email & phone queries
  • Create/update SOP’s and polices
  • Managing PSS area on our compliance system
  • Carrying out practice visits and advising on the PSS
  • Conducting PSS support video calls
  • Delivery of training
  • Assisting the VetPartners regulatory team
  • Assisting with PSS reports

You’ll have:

  • In depth knowledge of RCVS/PSS within Small Animal – Essential  (within Equine and Farm setting plus RVN qualification – desirable)
  • Experience using “Stanley” Online RCVS PSS portal
  • Ability to create template documents
  • Confidence in working across all levels in a large organisation
  • Confident communicator
  • VMD compliance and regulations knowledge, including cascade and Controlled Drugs – would be desirable
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, in particular Excel
  • Prioritising important tasks, amongst a varied workload, will be key to the role
  • Southern based – desirable

Hybrid – Mainly home, occasional practice visits with some time spent in our York Central Support Office.
