Primary Care Director – Linnaeus, Scotland – remote working

Joining Linnaeus as one of our Primary Care Directors provides you with a fantastic opportunity to lead, coach and develop your team and make a big impact to the business. At the same time this role offers you the potential for career progression in a growing business leading within the Veterinary industry, both within the UK and globally as part of Mars Veterinary Health.

This is a key strategic, leadership and clinical quality position where you will be responsible for all aspects of the performance of the Primary Care businesses within your remit, line managing the Clinical Directors and supporting the SLTs of your practices, working with business partners, the Medical Team, Central Operations and other stakeholders.

You will work closely with and report to the Primary Care Managing Director with the aim of ensuring your Primary Care practice teams deliver the highest quality of clinical care to their patients.

You will demonstrate and develop exemplary leadership within your businesses and implement the direction and frameworks needed to achieve consistent delivery of the business plan through highly engaged teams.

In this key role, through driving clinical excellence, you will be instrumental in the development and execution of strategic initiatives within your practice businesses, whilst enhancing the client experience, and strengthening team development, retention and engagement.

To succeed in this role you will be an inspirational leader, role model and motivator. Ideally, you will have had experience leading in a clinical or non-clinical role driven by KPIs driving growth within a complex business.

You will have strong commercial acumen with evidence in driving commercial initiatives to improve business performance. A positive attitude and approach to problem solving, with the skill set to inspire and motivate complex teams, will ensure you succeed within your region.
