Reception Manager – Tameside Veterinary Clinic, East Manchester

Tameside Vets is a 4 site, 15 Vet Practice in East Manchester – We are keen to welcome a Reception Manager who will uphold and promote our values in the workplace, for others to emulate:

 Applicants are expected to:

  • Be an experienced and highly skilled Veterinary receptionist including BVRA Gold award or equivalent.
  • Be an experienced line manager holding qualifications with recognized bodies such as the CIPD / CMI or ILM.
  • Work across all our branches.

Role Overview

The focus of the opportunity will be on:

  • Creating and maintaining professional and welcoming clinic environment to enhance customer experience.
  • Line managing our reception team, including delivering personal development reviews and managing rotas.
  • Working closely with Senior Members Team to ensure Practice runs smoothly and efficiently, playing an active role in developing the business.
  • Spotting and addressing underperformance and poor behaviour in a positive way through delivering constructive feedback.
  • Undertaking responsibilities for duties as desired and required by PM and CDs.
  • Maintaining and promoting good working practices., improving efficiencies and standards across the practice, to drive exceptional client experience.
  • Displaying commercial acumen and solid knowledge of Veterinary business.
  • Resolving customer complaints independently or alongside clinical team members if necessary.
