This is a role that really makes a difference to pets and people, nationally. Through strong leadership, the role of the Operations Manager is to oversee the smooth operational running of the directorate whilst supporting the delivery of the Blue Cross strategy. The Operations Managers will support our sites and help to develop our current national services by driving performance and efficiencies ensuring our services are sustainable and provide clear pathways that are in-keeping with the sector need and demand.
The role of the Operations Manager is a varied role with the responsibility of overseeing 2 – 3 of our Centre Managers whilst also spending time working on service improvements to drive performance in a specific service area e.g. our client services, fostering service or our home to home services.
Whilst this is a home-based role you will be required to travel to the different sites within your area of responsibility every fortnight along with other locations for meetings as and when required.
What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
• Current full manual driving licence
• Significant experience in managing and leading teams gained in an animal welfare environment
• Proven experience in leading teams to drive performance improvements and service development
• Demonstrable experience of leading teams to deliver high standards of customer experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels
It would also be great if you had:
• Experience of employment within a pet rehoming organisation

Salary: £28,045 – £40,470 per annum

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited back to attend an assessment centre on 8th December 2022.
