Small Animal Vet/Clinical Director – CVS Deveron, North Aberdeenshire

We are looking for a Small Animal Vet with management interests to lead our amazing Deveron Veterinary team. Based in the beautiful North Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where castles, beaches, mountains, golfing, sailing, dolphins.. are all available within an hour’s drive of the practice. Aberdeen airport is only around an hour’s drive too!

The role you will play:

We are looking for a small animal Vet to join us as Clinical Director where you will be greatly supported by our Senior Clinical Director and our Deveron Team.  You will help manage our veterinary team on a day to day basis. We want someone to shape our practice into an example of clinical excellence and patient care in the north east area. We have huge potential and you will be part of moulding our future!  You will still also enjoy a hands on Clinical role with a varied interesting caseload including acupuncture, orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue and imaging support, which is available in practice.

Meet the team:

You will enjoy working with John, Senior Clinical Director and his team of Vets, Nurses and support staff. This is John’s first year with our Deveron Veterinary Team, where he provides clinical and operational support. John encourages development and can provide help with Western acupuncture, pain recognition and management, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery and assist with mentoring our team from clinical to non-clinical aspects.  We have been through a lot of positive change this year. 2020 in many ways has taught us to really pull together as a team, support and look after each other. We are ready for our next steps and looking for a Vet to come and join us as Clinical Director to drive us forwards into 2021 and the years to come!

We have a large practice area with space to develop and add clinical services or equipment. Candidate requirements:

You will be a confident experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for either your first steps into a leadership role or an already established leader looking for a new challenge. You will be a motivated enthusiastic Vet with high clinical standards.
