Are you organised, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic? Are you a great communicator who is highly supportive and caring for the teams that you work with?
We are looking for someone within the veterinary industry to join our friendly, forward-thinking, team. You might be an RVN, an MRCVS, or you might have enough knowledge of veterinary medicines to be able to have conversations and understand discussions about categories of antibiotics, anti-parasiticides, and anthelmintics.
We are looking for a conscientious self-starter who will continue to run our VetTeamAMR project. This is an ideal opportunity if you relish a varied role with responsibility, are practical in your approach, have excellent people and problem-solving skills, and are eager to get stuck-in.
Through VetTeamAMR we unite and empower equine, companion and farm animal veterinary teams to establish good antimicrobial stewardship.
Antimicrobial resistance is a global problem that is estimated to cause 700,000 deaths each year. That figure is predicted to rise to 10 million by 2050 if no action is taken. VetTeamAMR forms an integral part of the UK’s five-year National Action Plan for tackling antimicrobial resistance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference for the ongoing efficacy of medicines, and to bring benefit to humans, animals and the environment. In return, RCVS Knowledge offers a competitive salary and an exciting, flexible and friendly working environment that will offer you opportunities to expand and grow your skills, including training and development opportunities.
We are a fast-growing respected charity whose mission is to advance the quality of veterinary care for the benefit of animals, the public, and society. We champion the use of evidence-based veterinary medicine in veterinary practice, and we provide practical tools, resources, and education to the veterinary professions. We are the charity partner of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
