Claire has committed over 20 years to the veterinary and animal care industry. She has a passion for making positive changes to animals’ lives. She believes this can be achieved by helping grow a well-educated, empowered team. Early in her career, Claire realised she loved helping others to succeed and grow. She was offered a role as Lead Nurse, which gave her the opportunity to assist newly qualified RVNs and students to develop and thrive within the industry. In 2022, Claire moved into education working as an examiner and assessor for VetSkill, whilst continuing clinical work as a locum.

Claire has a young family, who keep her on her toes and test her leadership skills on a daily basis. She loves long walks with her dog Belle and a sneaky pub lunch to follow!
