Max graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2019 and began his career as a companion animal veterinary surgeon in East Sussex. Since then, he moved back to Cambridgeshire – and in 2022, became Head Veterinary Surgeon for a group of 3 practices and a 24 hours hospital. His focus has been on improving staff wellbeing with flexible working and role adaptation. His main interests include veterinary management pathway transition and non-clinical skills for recently graduated vets.
Outside of work he enjoys strength training, and walks with his partner with their partially-sighted young cocker spaniel, Kerry.
