We are really excited that one of our VMG tutors; Lauren Emmett is through to the Final Global Championships of the Mars Make a Difference programme, after sailing through regional semi finals in Barcelona earlier this month.
Lauren was selected to represent Linneaus (as part of MARS) with her project on nursing leadership structure which she implemented at NDSR with very positive results and we are delighted to announce that she has made it through to the Finals in America.
The MARS Make the Difference competition celebrates innovative projects and ideas from MARS associates, aimed to bring improvements, savings and reduce environmental impact; helping to bring MARS closer to the world they want tomorrow.
Lauren said; “I’m incredibly proud and a little overwhelmed to be named a Mars Make The Difference finalist. I feel very fortunate to represent not only the work I do alongside my amazing team, but also leadership in veterinary nursing. I’m truly grateful for this experience and the personal development it brings, and I’m looking forward to the final stages later this year.”
Lauren holds the VMG DVLM qualification, after completing her DVLM, she joined the VMG as a tutor to help inspire other veterinary leaders.
